Dalit Children Need to Know Jesus Loves Them
Last year, one of our mission leaders in India shared a video with us of Dalit children being beaten in public for drinking water from a well belonging to a higher caste. You can see the video below, but because it is so heartbreaking, use discretion in watching it. These children are considered untouchable and are rejected by their communities, often subjected to slavery.

So far we have supplied our partners in India with 20,000 coloring book sets, each with an illustrated storybook of The Real Story of Jesus, its companion coloring book, and a pack of colored pencils. But we have run out of stock and urgently need 10,000 more sets! The Dalit children in India are in desperate need of the true story of Jesus—the powerful message that they are loved by God.
Our India field leader wrote to us, saying:
“These children have nothing. They are at the bottom of the bottom. If you can gift the Dalit children with a printed book telling the story of Jesus, they will treasure it forever as this could be their only gift in their whole life.”
