Help Share the Gospel with the Deaf Community Worldwide
There are officially 70 million deaf people worldwide, with unofficial estimates as high as 400 million, but only 2% of them are considered reached with the Gospel. This makes the deaf community the largest unreached people group in the world! Many of these people are considered second-class citizens in their countries and are disconnected from the hearing world, including the message of the Gospel.
RevelationMedia wants to help bridge that gap. Using new production technology developed for iBIBLE, we plan to animate the Gospel of Luke word-for-word in American Sign Language (ASL) with the characters themselves signing. Up until now, media for deaf people was created by inserting an interpreter next to the video, which makes it very difficult to follow the action and the dialogue at the same time. This new animation with the characters themselves signing is completely immersive and will allow deaf people to more fully experience the story of the Gospel.

A major ministry has generously provided a $100,000 matching grant for the $200,000 cost of animating the first chapter of Luke. Once complete, the Gospel of Luke can then be translated and reanimated in all of the world’s 350+ sign languages. That will allow the largest unreached people group in the world to have access to the Gospel.
New filming and editing technologies are making it possible to share the Gospel in ways that were previously thought impossible.
